The server does not configure all QLogic Fibre Channel cards when running Veritas kernel module(s)

Solution In Progress - Updated -

Issue

  • The server has multiple QLogic FC cards, but the driver within the OS is only configuring one of them.
  • The following command shows the server has multiple QLogic FC cards as they can be correctly detected at the PCI level, but a kernel driver is present only for the first card.

    # lspci -k | grep -A 3 "Fibre Channel"
