When attempting to start a VM, it fails to start with an error similar to:

VM xxxxxx is down with error. Exit message: internal error: qemu unexpectedly closed the monitor: 2020-03-12T12:43:28.670327Z qemu-kvm: -drive file=/dev/mapper/360000970xxxxxxxxxxxx333631,format=raw,if=none,id=drive-scsi0-0-0-3,cache=none,werror=stop,rerror=stop,aio=native: The device is not writable: Permission denied.
  • VM is using a direct LUN.
