Issue

We are facing issues by not communicating with backup server in our environment. We believe we are facing a Network packets drop.

Environment

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
- Issue observed on 2.6.18-348.12.1.el5. It is currently unknown if any other versions are affected.
Network connectivity is intermittently interrupted between host and backup server.
