What is the equivalent of /etc/initscript in RHEL6(upstart)

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

  • In RHEL6.4, need to know the equivalent for /etc/initscript. Normally, this script is used by init to execute the commands from inittab. Since RHEL6.4 supports only upstart and not inittab, which is the best alternative and one that works for upstart configuration/jobs and for all processes.
