Smart router does not start process instances on last version of kjar

Solution In Progress - Updated -

Issue

  • Smart router does not start the latest version of the process instances;
  • Execution of the REST API call to the smart router to start a process will not start the latest version of the process;
  • By default, processes started using smart router REST API command: <smart-router-host:port>/containers/<container_id/alias>/processes/<process_id>/instances will be started in a round robin fashion:
    • first execution of the command will start the process on the kie-server1,
    • second execution will start the process on the kie-server2,
    • third execution will start the process on the kie-server3,
    • forth execution will start the process on the kie-server1 and so on...

Environment

  • Red Hat Process Automation Manager (RHPAM) 7.3.1
  • Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (Openshift) 3.11
  • Deployed smart router;
  • Deployed multiple immutable kie-servers;
  • Each kie-server is deployed with a different version of the same kjar using the same alias;
