JBoss EAP 7 web administration console not reporting application status because of NullPointerException when accessing entity-cache resource

Issue

• We have a server group called "primary-server-group", and the applications run OK, but in the management web console we see all applications in red saying "No running server" and "There's no server running in server group 'primary-server-group'." . Could this be a bug? We restarted the servers but still, the problem is not gone. This is a fresh install. This doesn't happen in our other Jboss EAP 7.0.9 environment.
• In the JBoss EAP domain controller, deployment units are showing as server not running even though they are. In domain controller, admin console, select Deployments; Server Groups; jbc7 and Deployments column all ears show red - server not running But they are running.
