lvm commands in a cluster block without any signs of storage issues in RHEL 5

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

  • LVM commands such as lvs and vgdisplay hang forever, but no errors or storage problems found in logs.
  • clvmd core shows main thread stuck in read_from_local_sock, but is NOT related to this issue
