Can apache/httpd be upgraded from the default verision that comes with Red Hat Directory Server 9?

Issue

Our security team came back with following update on Apache used for the admin console.

The Apache version installed as part of RHDS install is 2.2.15-15.el6_2 and not 2.2.15-29.el6_4 which is, at the time of writing, the latest secure version. This correlates with the information provided by Red Hat with regards to their sub version patching.

Can you please help verifying this? Can we upgrade only Apache component to the latest version without impacting RHDS?
