Issue

  • Installing a package on Red Hat Enterprise Linux ComputeNode release 6.4 (Santiago).
  • While installing the package, it shows up the following error message.
# rpm -ihv SapphireOFX-7.030-1.x86_64.rpm

   1:SapphireOFX            ########################################### [100%]
Installing Sapphire Plug-ins 7.03...
xdg-mime: No writable system mimetype directory found.
Sapphire v 7.03: Installation script complete.
Done.
  • The software doesn't work.
  • Is there a difference between the Desktop version of RHEL and the ComputeNode?
