Installation of `rpm` fails with message "xdg-mime: No writable system mimetype directory found".

Issue

• Installing a package on Red Hat Enterprise Linux ComputeNode release 6.4 (Santiago).
• While installing the package, it shows up the following error message.

# rpm -ihv SapphireOFX-7.030-1.x86_64.rpm

• The software doesn't work.
• Is there a difference between the Desktop version of RHEL and the ComputeNode?
