yum dependency error for subscription-manager occurs with yum shell command in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6

Issue

• yum shell command failed with dependency error when the following file was used.

groupinstall basic-desktop
remove subscription-manager
remove subscription-manager-gnome
run
quit
