How to confirm that automated gear Idling and oo-last-access are working correctly?
Issue
- I've setup automatic gear idling via the instructions in section 6.8.7.2. Automated Gear Idling" of the OpenShift Enterprise Deployment Guide. Which gives an example of adding the following to your crontab:
# update access stats hourly:
0 * * * * /usr/sbin/oo-last-access > /var/lib/openshift/last_access.log 2>&1
# specify that apps idle after 5 days without access or update:
30 7,19 * * * /usr/sbin/oo-autoidler 5
- However, even though I've accessed the gear I see no output coming from /usr/sbin/oo-last-access. I'm not sure it's working. Can you please help me confirm?
