Red Hat Directory Server changelog size and settings for maxage and maxentries
Issue
What is the changelog size effect if both configuration parameters nsslapd-changelogmaxentries and nsslapd-changelogmaxage are set in the Red Hat Directory Server (RHDS)?
It may not be clear if there is a precedence issue when tuning both parameters:
nsslapd-changelogmaxentries (Max Changelog Records)
nsslapd-changelogmaxage (Max Changelog Age)
Is it possible to have a constraint on both age and number of entries to minimize master and consumer hub retro changelogs, specially when re-initializing a master and syncing to the replica's?
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
