smbstatus does not show the locks anymore when run as a non-root user

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

On samba-3.5.10 the smbstatus used to show the the locked files when run as a user:

[michele@server ~]$ smbstatus
Samba version 3.5.10-125.el6
....
Locked files:
Pid          Uid        DenyMode   Access      R/W        Oplock           SharePath   Name   Time
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2207         500        DENY_NONE  0x100081    RDONLY     NONE             /home/michele   .   Tue Aug 13 18:40:45 2013

On samba-3.6.9 the locks are not displayed any longer when smbstatus is run as a user:

[michele@rhel64x64 ~]$ smbstatus
Samba version 3.6.9-151.el6
