Why does repquota report incorrect "File limits hard value"?

Issue

  • Quota is implemented using following commands:
# quotacheck  -d /mnt/test
# quotacheck -d  -F vfsv1 /mnt/test
  • Why is an initial value of "File limits hard" set to 17180m in following output:
# repquota -vs -a
*** Report for user quotas on device /dev/vda3
Block grace time: 7days; Inode grace time: 7days
