Installation with kickstart displays error "Could not allocate requested partitions: Not enough space for LVM requests"
Issue
- Installation of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 OS fails with following dialog message on the screen.
Could not allocate requested partitions:
not enough space for LVM requests.
Press 'OK' to exit the installer.
- The installation will not proceed further.

- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
- Kickstart installation with "interactive" option in configuration file
