JBoss Developer Studio installation failed with error message java.io.EOFException: Attempt to read primitive data, but no data block is active.

While installing JBoss Developer Studio, the installer fails after executing the following command:

Despite several attempts of removing log files from /tmp directory and the /home/jorge/jbdevstudio directory created in past attempts of installation, the user was still facing the same issue.
