blkid command takes too much time to finish

Issue

• When using blkid it takes too long to finish when the system has thousands of disks.

• The blkid command takes around five seconds to finish processing the disk even when adding the device path:

  # date; blkid -o value -s TYPE /dev/sdmc1; date
