On RHN Satellite v5.4 can not generate repodata if channel checksum is null

Issue

• Created a new Satellite server on new hardware with a new hostname, this was installed as a 5.4 satellite server. Then did an rhn-satellite-export to an NFS share for the cloned channels only, and imported them onto the new Satellite server.

• All appeared to work without error, but now in the  /var/cache/rhn/repodata/<channel name>/ can see a file called  noyumrepo.txt
