JON unable to stop/start jboss EAP instance

Issue

  • We ave installed JON on a platform where 2 Jboss EAP application servers are running.
  • But when it comes to stop/start a Jboss instance using JON, nothing happens. In the servers inventory, we have setup the path to the stop/start scripts, and disabled the jmx mode.
  • We get the below error when we try to run the operation in the JON Console: 
     ERROR [org.rhq.enterprise.gui.common.paging.PagedListDataModel] Could not retrieve collection for PageControlView[unlimited]
java.lang.IllegalStateException: java.lang.NumberFormatException: null
