I/O error when attempting to mount CIFS share with krb5 user credentials
Issue
- Mounting a
CIFSshare with sec=krb5i produces the following error:
# mount.cifs //SERVER/SHARE /mnt/ -o username=user,sec=krb5i,uid=11121,gid=11113,noauto,users
mount error 5 = Input/output error
Refer to the mount.cifs(8) manual page (e.g.man mount.cifs)
- The user "user" has kerberos credential initialized with kinit.
