Brainpool curves support in Red Hat OpenJDK and RHEL
Issue
- Is Brainpool curves supported in RHEL? And on OpenJDK?
- What curves does Red Hat OpenJDK support?
- Why doesn't openssl in RHEL7 and RHEL8 support the EC brainpool curves ?
- Openssl is not supporting EC brainpool curves, neither on EL7 nor on EL8 - what is the reason behind that in source RPM they are disabled with a patch (EL7: openssl-1.0.2c-ecc-suiteb.patch)
