Can OpenShift update my DNS with out using a secure key?

Issue

Is it possible to configure the nsupdate to use no / open authentication?
- When I try to comment out the TSIG key, updates fail with missing key. I am able to manually do nsupdates from the broker without specifying a key so I know our DNS server is configured correctly.
