Environment

  • Red Hat JBoss Operations Network (ON) 3.1.1, 3.1.2
  • Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP) 6
  • JBoss EAP management plug-in for JBoss ON
  • A symbolic link is created which points to the JBoss EAP installation -- For example, if JBOSS_HOME is /opt/jboss/jboss-eap-6.1.0.GA:

    ln -s /opt/jboss/jboss-eap-6.1.0.GA /opt/jboss/jboss-eap

  • Start script connection setting for JBoss EAP domain or host controller resource has been set to use a start script under a symbolic link -- For example, /opt/jboss/jboss-eap/bin/domain.sh
