Network latency observed during local Oracle database connection on Red Hat Enterprise Linux
Issue
Huge network latency observed during database connection.
Attempt connection to database using SQL (locally) takes at least 4 seconds to get the prompt.
Example:
oraznm@hostname - PMMW - /hostname/u01/app/oracle/admin <<< Standby >>>
> sqlplus "/as sysdba"
