lnstat manpage insufficient

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

  • The following description from the lnstat man page does not provide enough detail:
lnstat is a generalized and more feature-complete replacement for the old rtstat program. In
addition to routing cache statistics, it supports any kind of statistics the linux kernel exports
via a file in /proc/net/stat/.
  • It probably was designed to be used in conjunction with the rtstat man page that gives a better description of the fields and what the program does but there is no rtstat man page.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
  • iproute-2.6.32-23.el6.x86_64
