Red Hat Directory Server replication initialization may fail with "ERROR bulk import abandoned"

Issue

Red Hat Directory Server (RHDS)  replication initialization may fail in some specific conditions:

  • The process seems to work fine until the end when it tries to create the indexes
  • Unable to run a CRL online initialization to replica, fails with error "ERROR bulk import abandoned"
