Why doesn't the MRG 1.3 RT kernel 2.6.33.7-rt29.47.el5rt detect bnx2 NIC while the previous RT kernel 2.6.24.7-149.el5rt detects them ?

- Why doesn't the MRG 1.3 RT kernel 2.6.33.7-rt29.47.el5rt detect bnx2 NIC while the previous RT kernel 2.6.24.7-149.el5rt detects them ?
With kernel 2.6.33.7-rt29.47.el5rt, following message is noticed in /var/log/dmesg

bnx2: probe of 0000:04:00.1 failed with error -2
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise MRG
- HP DL380 G7
- Kernel that fails to detect the NIC 2.6.33.7-rt29.47.el5rt
- Kernel that works: 2.6.24.7-149.el5rt
