GFS filesystem corruption in function "function = gfs_make_fs_rw" with Red Hat Cluster Suite

Issue

  • In the middle of processing a mount point was lost. Attempts to remount came up with an IO error.
  • The following messages are found in /var/log/messages:

kernel: GFS: fsid=Tokyo:gfs_oradata01.0: telling LM to withdraw
kernel: GFS: fsid=Tokyo:gfs_oradata01.0: withdrawn
