Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • Kickstart from Satellite fails with "AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'size'" . The base kickstart file is copied from an anaconda-ks.cfg created by first installing the OS via DVD on the system.
  • The disk layout copied directly from the DVD build:
    -----------------------------------------------------
    part /boot --fstype ext3 --onpart sda1
    part swap --onpart sdb1
    part pv.4 --noformat --onpart sda2

    volgroup OS_dg --pesize=32768 pv.4

Environment
