Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 can not be booted on a UEFI system. Why?
Issue
- RHEL5 can not be booted on a UEFI system
- After installing RHEL5 on my MacPro, the system does not boot into Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
- Why does RHEL5 not boot on a system with UEFI instead of BIOS?
- We are trying to install RHEL 5.11 with UEFI option , what is the procedure to enable UEFI for RHEL 5.11?
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
- System with UEFI firmware instead of BIOS (eg: Apple Mac Pro)
