• I have purchased Red Hat Enterprise Linux Workstation 6 and RHEL 6.2 media kit together. Can I install RHEL 5.x version instead of RHEL 6 on my PC without violating the license and contract?

Resolution

• A Red Hat Enterprise Linux subscription is not version specific. Once a subscription has been purchased, customers have access to currently supported versions (5, and 6) based on the Red Hat Enterprise Linux Life Cycle.
