How to install 32 bit gcc version on 64 bit RHEL 5 platform?

Issue

  • Need to install gcc package for 32 bit version in x86_64 machine.
  • Insallation of 32 bit gcc package fails with the following conflict error :-
# rpm -ivh gcc-4.1.2-54.el5.i386.rpm
