How to manually reset lockout of accounts in Directory Server?

Issue

An account is locked out due to Directory Server policy. Is there a way to manullay unlock the account before the perscribed period of time?
Can it be handled through pam_tally2 instead, placing pam_tally2 before the pam_ldap entry in the /etc/pam.d/system-auth file?
