When importing image throws error "Forbidden: importing images from registry" in OCP 3.10

Issue

  • We are able to import images directly using oc import however the image stream function not working and we getting this error
$ oc import-image registry.fqdn.com:8443/igniteplatform/jupyter-notebook:stable --confirm
The ImageStreamImport "jupyter-notebook" is invalid: spec.images[0].from.name: Forbidden: importing images from registry "registry.fqdn.com:8443" is forbidden: registry "registry.fqdn.com:8443" not allowed by whitelist: "docker-registry.default.svc:5000", [...], "registry.access.redhat.com:443"
  • How to add an image stream source and whitelist it?
