Apache httpd is slow to send the first request bytes through mod_proxy
Issue
- We have an issue where nearly everytime httpd/mod_proxy to tomcat communication happens, its taking 5 sec for httpd to send the first byte of the request to tomcat
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
- JBoss Enterprise Web Server (EWS)
- Apache httpd
- mod_proxy
