Is it possible to have cluster nodes on different LANs/subnets separated by router ?

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

  • Due to network re-organization, the cluster nodes(total 8) will be re-organized into two different subnets(5 nodes on 10.120.10 and 3 nodes on 10.120.11 under Cisco and Nexus Switches respectively). Is this supported by Red Hat?

  • Can the cluster nodes be in a separate LANs/subnets having a router between them ?

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 5 (with the High Availability and Resilient Storage Add Ons)
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 6 (with the High Availability and Resilient Storage Add Ons)
