How do I create non-perstisted EJB timers in JBoss EAP 4 / 5
Issue
- Expired interval timers re-expire on JBoss restart for example
- We have some timers that need to survive JBoss restarts, but others that will just be recreated at startup, so we don't want to persist those.
- in JBoss timers are persisted based on static policy defined in ejb-deployer.xml; is there a way to decide whether to persist a timer or not at runtime?
Environment
- JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP) 4.3.0
