After installing and downgrading `jbossas` it is unable to start.

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • After installing jbossas, version 5.2.0, and then downgrading this to 5.1.2 with yum jboss is unable to start with the following error:
Deployment "Deployers" is missing the following dependencies:
Dependency "deployers-classloader:0.0.0" (should be in state "Installed", but is actually in state "Described")
Dependency "jboss.kernel:service=KernelController" (should be in state "Installed", but is actually in state "**ERROR**")

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
  • Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform 5
  • Installing jboss through yum
