Issue

We have many (like 200) clients that subscribe - among others - to some broadcast exchange. I.e. that fanout exchange has 200 bindings.

We notice big performance impact on the broker when publishing (in bursts) to the broadcast exchange, in particular:

inability to open new connections
loosing already established connections due to missed heartbeats

Why that occurs?

Is there some tunable configuration to alleviate the problem?
