After an overcloud deployment/update, all APIs are returning a 503 Service Unavailable error code

  • We are no longer able to login horizon dashboard

  • All API calls are answered with a 503 Service Unavailable such as one of the following examples:

[stack@undercloud ~]$ glance image-list
503 Service Unavailable: The server is currently unavailable. Please try again at a later time. (HTTP 503)
[stack@unsercloud ~]$ openstack server list
Unknown Error (HTTP 503) (Request-ID: req-9efd9dfb-b8dc-4e82-ae75-879c8a182dc9)
