Suspended guest OS cannot be resumed.

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

  • Suspended guest OS cannot be resumed by both "virsh resume" and virt-manager.

  • In the case of "virsh resume", it can't resume the suspended guest with the following message.

    # virsh resume rhel60
 error: Failed to resume domain rhel60
 error: Timed out during operation: cannot acquire state change lock

  • In the case of virt-manager, it hangs up.

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux Version Number: 6 snapshot 9
  • Architecture: x86_64
  • Kernel Version: kernel-2.6.32-54.el6.x86_64
  • libvirt-0.8.1-20.el6.x86_64
  • qemu-kvm-0.12.1.2-2.104.el6.x86_64
  • qemu-kvm-tools-0.12.1.2-2.104.el6.x86_64
