Is there a way to reduce time taken to move a vm from storage domain to another one?

Issue

• I am trying to move a vm from one storage domain to another one. The vm remains in image locked for a long time especially when "wipe after delete" is enabled for disks. Is there a way to reduce this time so that the vm can be started from the target storage domain once the copy process is over without waiting to finish deleting the disks from source storage domain which can be done in back ground?
