Where to put jars for -javaagent in JBoss

Issue

We are using a jar will be loaded by run.conf entry "-javaagent:<place-to-agent.jar>".
Our developers placed the lib into the $JBOSS_HOME/lib directory. Because this is the system-lib directory I would place the file into the jboss/server/lib/ directory. Is this the correct approach? Where should we place the aspectjweaver.jar to use with -javaagent parameter?
