Receive "The character ' ' (at position 8) is not allowed" error in the MetaMatrix Designer messages screen

Issue

  • I created a new virtual table (Clarify Issues) and put in my transformation and now receive the below error in the Messages box:

    The character ' ' (at position 8) is not allowed; only alphabetic ([a-z]|[A-Z]), digit ([0-9]), unicode (["\u0153"-"\ufffd"]) or underscore ('_') characters are allowed

  • What could be wrong with my transformation?
