Issue

  • Crontab entries are running, but the output is not going to /var/spool/mail

  • Certain cron jobs after being run, their output is not going to /var/spool/mail

  • Certain scripts run through cron, but their output is not being mailed to the respective user

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 update 5
  • vixie-cron-4.1-77.el5_4.1.ppc
