LDAP authentication configuration file formats

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

There are four main LDAP configuration files we modify. They are:

/etc/openldap/ldap.conf
/etc/sssd/sssd.conf
/etc/nslcd.conf
/etc/sudo-ldap.conf

I am scripting the post setup config to pre-configure our ldap environment. The question I have is this, I noticed in the configs that we need a comma when specifying our multiple ldap servers in some files, but in some files we don't.

What is the standard? Do we need to leave the commas out of these configuration files when specifying our servers, or does it even matter?
