How do I stop directories from being created in \tmp directory on redeployment in JBoss?

Issue

The number of deployment directories in the format of a1qk1h-p8e74p-gbwc6w5n-1-gbym3qrj-cw under the tmp directory in JBoss continues to grow with every app (re)deploy. Is this anything to be concerned about. Is there as setting in JBoss to control this or should we simply write our own cleanup script?
