Server load high, nfs clients preform very slowly but do function (IBM GPFS)
Issue
When the problem starts the load on the server gets really high and the nfs clients tend to hang and preform very slowly but do function. The server never really gets back to normal performance until it is rebooted.
When the problem is happening nfs clients show that lockd is not responding.

Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.4
- NFSv3
- IBM GPFS specific
