NetworkManager in RHEL 7.5 does not attempt to renew a DHCP lease after a link down event (lost carrier)
Issue
- An ethernet link state change during a DHCP lease renewal causes NetworkManager to stop trying to renew the lease.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.5
- NetworkManager 1.10.2
