Is there an option in the tripleo heat template to configure "DOMAIN" option in the interface config file for the overcloud nodes?

Issue

  • We want to be able to configure the domain suffix of our platforms in the ifcfg files of overcloud nodes but I cannot find the parameter to put into the nic-config.yaml file.
  • We are using dns_servers filled with the template variable DnsServers to configure the DNS servers. We are also using the variable CloudDomain which seems to be used to configure some entries in /etc/hosts files, but there is nothing in ifcfg files.
  • Is there an option in the tripleo heat template to configure DOMAIN option in the interface config file for the overcloud nodes?

  • Red Hat OpenStack Platform (RHOSP) 10.0
  • Tripleo heat template.
